The initial shipment of Arkansas Scholarship Lottery game tickets have arrived in Arkansas. The precious cargo was transported by 18-wheeler to the Scientific Games (SGI) Distribution Center at 12120 Colonel Glenn Parkway, Little Rock.
In a ceremony witnessed by ASL and SGI staff and members of the public, Arkansas Lottery Commissioners broke the seal on the truck’s rear doors and viewed the huge pallets supporting thousands of tickets. An SGI representative removed the first pallet of tickets with a forklift.
The tickets were distributed to 1,500 retailers throughout Arkansas and will go on sale one second after midnight Sept. 28.  Net proceeds of ticket sales will be used for scholarships for Arkansas college students.
The purpose of the Arkansas Scholarship Lottery is to support Arkansas education for Arkansas students and  build a better future for our state. Security and integrity — reflecting the values of the people of Arkansas — are essential to the success of our work.
