Turner, Dickinson, Bryant earn primary victories

In the lone county-wide election during Tuesday evening’s Arkansas Primary elections, local voters solidly backed the incumbent, Lisa Turner, as she faced a stiff battle from Janet Joslin.

Turner, who is completing her first term after working under previous clerk Pam Graham for many years, received 1,193 votes (70.09 percent) to Joslin’s 509 votes (29.91 percent).
