  • Begin your child’s summer with adventure by attending the free programs at Jacksonport Discovery Hour in Jacksonport State Park.  Activities starting Thursday, June 14 at 10 am at the park pavilion.   The activities are free and will be every Thursday from 10 am to 11am in June and July.

  • Begin your child’s summer with adventure by attending the free programs at Jacksonport Discovery Hour in Jacksonport State Park.  Activities starting Thursday, June 14 at 10 am at the park pavilion.   The activities are free and will be every Thursday from 10 am to 11am in June and July.  
    Jacksonport Discovery Hour is a world of excitement packed into a one hour program for kids’ age 6 to 12 years.  With the Park Interpreters, you can explore the outdoors and discover history with games, trail walks, crafts, artifacts, storytelling and live animals.
    The dates and activities are June 14th –Bird Bingo, June 21st Trapper’s Guide to Survival, June 28th –Mysterious Water, July 5th –Japanese Fish Printing, July 12th –Bees, July 19th –Live Turtles, and July 28th – Owls.
