She was born in Fort Smith, Wednesday, March 30, 2011. Landyn, lovingly called "Baby Tickle," was shared with her family and friends for a short one year, four months, and four days. Although her time here was short, the life she lived was big. She was known for her loving spirit, big blue eyes, curly hair, and constant smile. Landyn was giggly, fun loving, and at the age of 16-months, already a dog lover. She and her dog, Ziggy, were the best of friends. Naturally curious and energetic, Landyn was always rearranging the kitchen cabinets, unpacking bags, and playing with and mimicking her older cousins and friends, and taking care of her "baby cousins." She was always interested in watching people and would sit attentively at church content to observe those around her. Fruit, cookie dough, and frosting were her favorite treats, the television remote, cell phones, and high heeled shoes were among her favorite toys, twirling, singing, and babysitting her grandparents were among her favorite activities, and her bottle and blanket among her most prized possessions. Little Miss Landyn Elizabeth Tickle loved and enjoyed many things, but, none as much as snuggling in the laps of those she loved and those who loved her so dearly, especially her "MumMum and Daddee." Landyn was preceded in death by her great-grandparents, Don and Hazel Strahan, Robert Sailor, Don Kite, Sr. James and Regina Smith, Benjamin and Nellie Tickle, and one great-uncle, James Smith, Jr. She is survived by her parents, Matthew Edmond Tickle and Shelby Rebecca Strahan of the home; her paternal grandparents, Roger and Gretchen (Smith) Tickle of Spring, Texas; her maternal grandparents, Gaylon and Brenda (Kite) Strahan of Spring, Texas; her great-grandparents, Ronald and Clara (Evans) Crump of Amarillo, Texas, and Lyla Godfrey of Dallas, Texas; and a host of loving aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends.
