Ludeen Siler Baker, 91, of Bradford departed from this life on August 13, 2012.

She was born on December 2, 1920 in Bradford to the late Virgil and Hattie Mae Siler. She is preceded in death by her parents, her husband of 46 years, Neil Pate Baker; infant sister, Audrey Lee Siler; daughter, Gloria Kay Grady and son-in-law, Clarke Kinney. She leaves to cherish her memory, her children; son-in-law, Jim Grady of Jacksonville; daughters, Joyce Hoofman and husband Richard of Bradford and Fonda Kinney of Little Rock; her beloved brother, James “Tinker” Siler of Bradford; her grandchildren, Scarlett Kay Grady, DeShawn Robinson and husband Michael, David Baker, Shane Otts and wife Sabrina, Kenneth Kinney and wife Michelle and Allison Jennings and husband Jay; great-grandchildren, Madison and Mallory Otts, Megan and Ashley Jennings and Christian Kinney and many nieces and nephews. Ludeen was a member of the Possum Grape Church of Christ. She was a devoted wife, mother and grandmother. She was a local beautician for 53 years. She enjoyed sewing, smocking and quilting; she especially loved making baby quilts. Ludeen also enjoyed watching her grandchildren’s sporting events, was an avid gardener and a wonderful cook. Visitation will be Wednesday from 6-8 p.m. Services will be conducted on Thursday, August 16, 2012 at 2:00 p.m. at the Powell Funeral Home Chapel with Paul Pollard officiating. Interment will follow in the Heard Cemetery by Powell Funeral Home, Bald Knob-Judsonia. .
