Mrs. Phyllis Jane (Jobe) Martin, 55, of Cash, died Tuesday, Aug. 21, 2012 at Little Rock.

She was born Aug. 5, 1957 the daughter of Clarence and Letha Marie Jobe. Mrs. Martin was a Home Health Aid for White River Area on Aging and was a member of the Pitts Baptist Church. She enjoyed working in the yard especially with her flowers, at one time she owned her own flower shop and loved spending time with her family, she was always busy doing something, never had time to sit down. Mrs. Martin was preceded in death by her parents; one brother, Clarence LaVone Jobe; and one sister, Kathy Clayton. She is survived by her husband, Mike Martin of Cash,; one son, Mickey Minton of Pitts; one daughter, Dakota Minton of Pitts; two step-sons, Mike Martin and Brandon Martin, both of Beebe; one sister, Linda Sue Estes of Cash; one granddaughter, Alice Jayde Minton; two step-granddaughters, Regan and Taylor Martin; and a host of nieces, nephews and friends. Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Friday, Aug. 24, 2012 at Jackson’s Newport Funeral Home Chapel with Bro. John Worshaw and Bro. Bob King officiating. Interment will be in Holloway Cemetery. Visitation will be Friday, Aug. 24, 2012 from 1 p.m. until service time. Pallbearers will be Wayne Clayton, Kenny Williams, Henry Hale, Greg Greer, Anthony Estes and Willie Corea.
