Bad Boy Boxing returns to the Armory Saturday, Sept. 29, and will feature local talent, new faces, rematches, and much more.

Some of the best fights in Batesville were on their show last December and they are expecting even more fireworks Sept. 29. One of, if not the most intriguing bouts on the card will be when world rated 115-lb. female fighter Kristen Treadway from Batesville rematches Savanna Hill of Russelville. In January 2012, Treadway defeated Hill via a six-round unanimous decision in front of a sold out crowd at the Fitzgerald Casino in Tunica, Miss. In May of this year Team Treadway was preparing for a June bout (which was cancelled) and was looking for sparring and invited Hill in as a sparring partner, but was turned down due to the fact that she and her trainer/husband Brad Hill were eyeing the possibility of a rematch with Treadway. “As the story goes sometimes you get what you ask for, as is the case in this instance as these two ladies are ready for an all out war again,” said representatives of Bad Boy Boxing. “This fight is sure to be a good one, but I am not so sure that some of our guys on the card are going to let these ladies be the stars of the show either.” “As we have the most improved fighter in the mid-south, Josh Williams, who has never been in a boring fight and always makes it interesting due to the fact that he will take a few punches to land his own shots, also we have the return of lightweight fighter James Frazier, an interesting match between slick debut boxer Cody Williams from Sheridan and battle tested Joey Crawford from Imboden, and many more exciting fights to be made in the coming weeks.
