  • Wilson holds 11 Arkansas school records, including career completion percentage of 63.0, and has produced three of the top-five single-game pass completions totals. He also ranks in the top 10 in school history in career passing touchdowns (36), career pass completions (374), career passing yards (4,941), career pass attempts (594) and career total offense yards (4,888). His average of 7.34 yards of total offense per play in his career is the highest among active SEC players and the fifth-highest average among active players in the NCAA. In addition to his on-field accomplishments, Wilson participated in commencement ceremonies in May and is finishing an internship this semester for his bachelor's degree in sports management. He was selected as a team captain in 2011 and 2012 and has participated in numerous community service activities. To be eligible for the award, a student-athlete must be classified as an NCAA Division I FBS senior and have notable achievements in four areas of excellence – community, classroom, character and competition. An acronym for Celebrating Loyalty and Achievement for Staying in School®, the Senior CLASS Award focuses on the total student-athlete and encourages students to use their platform in athletics to make a positive impact as leaders in their communities. The 30 candidates will be narrowed to 10 finalists midway through the regular season, and those 10 names will be placed on the official ballot. Ballots will be distributed through a nationwide voting system to media, coaches and fans who will select one finalist who best exemplifies excellence in the four Cs of community, classroom, character and competition.
