  • He was born June 28, 1945 to Vernon and Agnes Swan Hendrix.
    He was preceded in death by his parents; and three brothers, Clifton, Woody and Oscar Hendrix.
    He is survived by two sons, Clifford William Hendrix and Marcus Ray Hendrix; three daughters, Rhonda Pounders, Bridget Hendrix and Cary Hendrix; two brothers, Garland and Albert Hendrix; one sister, Brenda Winston; 10 grandchildren.
    Funeral services were held at 2 p.m. Monday, Oct. 15, 2012 at the Dillinger Funeral Home Chapel.
