James W. Polston, 81, of Swifton went to be with his father Tuesday, Oct. 16, 2012.
He was born March 3, 1931 in Saffell and enjoyed fishing and music.
He was preceded in death by his first wife, Nova Polston; his mother, Goldie Ann Randolph; and his father, Willie Polston; his beloved, Mazie Hudson; and three grandchildren, Nova Nicole Polston, LaDonna Kay Polston and Josey Robert Brown.
He leaves behind his children, Lanny, Dean, Wayne, Charlie and Bobby Polston, Mary Smith, Faye Fitz, Kathy Fernandez, Amanda Polston, Nyoka Polston and Christy Chaires, Gwen Finney, Tammy Ford, Judy Brannen, Dena Brown and Lori Lacy; one brother, Carl Polston; 29 grandchildren; and 28 greatgrandchildren.
Funeral services were held at 2 p.m Monday, Oct. 22, 2012 at the Dillinger Funeral Home Chapel with burial in Strangers Home Cemetery.
Visitation was from 11:30 a.m. until service time Monday, Oct. 22, 2012.
