Bobby Neal Foster, 70, of Thida, died Sunday, Nov. 4, 2012 at White River Medical Center in Batesville.
He was born Thursday, Feb. 5, 1942 in Thida and was the son of John Foster and Audrey Oguin Foster.
Bobby retired as a route salesman for Dr. Pepper. He was a member of the Olyphant Church of Christ.
Survivors include his wife of 38 years, Lorine Bumpous Foster; three sons, Robert Foster and wife, Becky, of Batesville, Mike Foster and wife, Whitney, of Desha, and Matt Foster and wife, Tammy, of Pleasant Plains; two daughters, Vickey Branscum and husband, Stan, of Magness, and Diane Bullard and husband, Bill, of Batesville; four brothers, Earl Foster and wife, Betty, of Newport, Richard Foster, Terry Foster and Michael Foster and wife, Roxanne, all of Thida; three sisters, Donna Sparks and husband, Jerry, of Gadsden, Ala., Dana Foster of Pleasant Plains, and Sherry Kersey and husband, Marc, of Searcy; 14 grandchildren; and 11 great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his parents; three brothers, Franklin Foster, Phillip Foster, and Keith Foster; and a sister, Betty Miller.
Funeral services were held at 10 a.m., Wednesday, Nov. 7, 2012 at the Olyphant Church of Christ in Bradford officiated by Herb Wilson and Jim Woodell.
Burial followed in Brown Cemetery at Thida under the direction of Roller-Crouch Funeral Home of Batesville.
Pallbearers were Troy Bumpous, Jr., James Maples, Jayson Brnich, Chuck Caldwell, Scotty Armstrong, and Ronnie Armstrong, Jr. Honorary Pallbearers were Troy Bumpous, David Chambliss and Craig Wilson.
Visitation was from 5-8 p.m., Tuesday, Nov. 6, 2012 at the funeral home.
