Mrs. Becky (Sellers) Cole Fox, of Tuckerman, departed this life Saturday, Nov. 3, 2012, at Newport.
Becky was born April 29, 1962, in Newport, the daughter of Allene “Red” Browning Sharp and Hershel Elwood “Porkey” Sellers.
She was a 1981 graduate of Tuckerman High School. After high school, Becky became certified in early childhood education and worked with the Headstart program at Swifton for several years. She dearly loved working with the children.
Becky was a devoted Christian and an active member of the Faith Assembly of God Church in Tuckerman where she sang in the choir. Known for her outgoing personality and kind-hearted nature, she was always doing for others. Becky never met a stranger and loved to visit with everyone and was genuinely liked by all who had the chance to meet her. Her greatest love and joy in life was her family. Becky will be sorely missed and always remembered as a loyal and loving wife, mother, grandmother, daughter, sister, aunt, and friend.
She was preceded in death by her father, Hershel Elwood “Porkey” Sellers.
Becky is survived by her loving husband, Jimmy Glenn Fox of Tuckerman. They were married at 2 p.m. Saturday, Nov. 3, 2012, at the Faith Assembly of God Church in the presence of family and friends. She is also survived by her children, James Allen Cole of Tuckerman and Chelsea Danielle Cole of Paragould; her mother, Allene “Red” (Browning) Sharp of Tuckerman; her step-parents, Edgar and Margo Sharp of Newport; one brother, Ray Fowler of Tuckerman; two sisters, Pam Baker of Perth Amboy, N.J. and Jimmy Jean Sellers of Searcy; two step-sons, Austin Hall and Jerry Daniels, both of Newport; two step-grandchildren, Kesslyn Rogers and Ethan Hall, both of Newport; several cousins, nieces, nephews, and a lifetime of friends.
Memorial service will be held at 10 a.m. Thursday, Nov. 8, 2012 at the Faith Assembly of God Church in Tuckerman.
