She attended Blackland Baptist Church and enjoyed fishing, music, dancing and gardening.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Edward L. Stewart; her parents, Alfred and May (Williams) Western; one granddaughter, Carol Freeman; two great-granddaughters, Ariel Freeman and Margaret King; and two brothers, Vernon Western and A.G. Western.
Her survivors are two daughters, Norma Spence (James) of Oil Trough, and Linda Freeman (Gaylord) of Oil Trough; three grandchildren, Dennis Spence (Shelly), Kelly Henson (Scott) and Patricia King (Shane); and nine great-grandchildren, Brandon Spence, Shelden Spence, Ryleigh Spence, Skyler Henson, Leana Henson, Kathryn King, Allison King, Madison King and Tristen Allen.
Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Thursday, Dec. 6, 2012 at Blackland Baptist Church with burial in Coffeyville Cemetery.
Visitation was from 6-8 p.m. Wednesday, Dec. 5, 2012.
