• Ingram guilty of Capital Murder

  • According to Third Judicial District Prosecuting Attorney Henry H. Boyce, Richard Ingram, of Newport, was found guilty of Capital Murder Friday afternoon by 12 of his peers.

  • Ingram was convicted of the death of his toddler son, 23-month-old Damarrius Thomas who died after being beaten by his father in August, 2010.
    The Jury deliberated for only 37 minutes before returning the guilty verdict.
    Ingram will spend the rest of his life in the Arkansas Department of Corrections without the possibility of parole.
