• Broadband internet classes to be offered at ASUN

  • The University of Arkansas at Monticello and Connect Arkansas are offering a broadband internet class, introductory session, at the ASUN Center for the Arts Friday, Dec. 14 at 6:00 p.m.

  • The classes will be available for Jackson County parents and children who qualify for free or reduced lunch.
    Parents and children will attend three class sessions together with 2 additional training sessions to follow at a later date.
    "If your family qualifies for free or reduced lunch and your child does not currently have a computer, you will receive a free refurbished desktop computer," said Marshelvia Thompson-Collins Technology Trainer, University of Arkansas at Monticello.
    You must call Marshelvia Thompson at 870-723-6382 to register for the classes.
    "Seating is limited, reserve your spot today," Thompson-Collins said.
