Tuckerman resident Donald Lee Foshee, 54, plead guilty Wednesday to 12 counts of Distributing, Possessing or Viewing of Matter Depicting Sexually Explicit Conduct Involving a Child.
According to Third Judicial District Prosecuting Attorney Henry H. Boyce, Foshee entered the plea just moments before he was to face a Jackson County Jury for trial. The charges, which carry a 40 year sentence, stem from an incident which occurred earlier this year. On January 20, 2012 the Jackson County Sheriff's Office was contacted by the Faulkner County Sheriff's Office's Internet Crimes Against Children's Division advising they had information about child pornography in Jackson County. At that time the Jackson County Sheriff's Office began an investigation which ultimately led to Foshee being identified as the suspect. Two days later a search warrant was executed on Foshee's home where computer discs containing child pornography were located. The State of Arkansas was also represented by Chief Deputy Prosecuting Attorney Rob Ratton.
