He was born November 6, 1953 at Kankakee, Illinois, the son of Feliciano Cantu and Lola (Hamby) Dunham.
Mr. Cantu was of the Baptist belief, and enjoyed reading history and space books. He enjoyed playing bingo, and watching movies, especially James Bond. He had a photographic memory. Mr. Cantu was home schooled, and taught himself to read and write.
He was preceded in death by his mother, Lola Dunham.
Mr. Cantu is survived by one sister, JoAnn Moser and husband David, Sr., of San Antonio, Texas; two nephews, David Moser, Jr., and Michael Moser; two nieces, Kristina and Melissa Moser; great-nieces and nephews, Madison, Jadien, Tyler, Ethan, and Matthew; and his family at St. Michael’s Place.
Private graveside services were held at Walnut Grove Cemetery.
