This program will not help with shut-off notices or assist with reconnecting utilities. Please allow up to 35 days for the application to be processed and check sent to the vendor. You must continue to pay your bill. This program will only pay a portion of the bill - not the full amount of the bill. The following is a list of documents needed to apply: previous month's income for everyone in the home 18 years or older (i.e. check stubs, SSI, SSA, child support, unemployment, TEA, utility assistant check from HUD, etc.) regular bill.
