Arkansas State University-Newport will hold a “New Device Training
Session” Jan. 9 to teach users how to operate their portable
electronic devices.

The training session, scheduled for 10 a.m. in the ASUN Library, will be led by Donovan Mays from the Arkansas State Library. Mays will bring an iPad 2, Asus Transformer tablet, Kindle Touch, Fire and keyboard, Nook Simple and Nook Color, Nexus 7, Sony Pocket Reader and a Kobo reader to the session, providing instruction on each of the devices. The training session is free and open to the public and is scheduled to last approximately one hour.
