The Tuckerman Bulldogs (15-5) rounded out the first half of their season with a 86-67 loss to Rivercrest in the first round of the NEA Tournament.
"We hung in pretty good in the first half, but they were able to pull away in the second half," said Coach Morgan Gilbert. The Bulldogs trailed only 37-34 at the half, but Rivercrest exploded with 49 second half points to secure the win. Despite the loss, Tuckerman had three players score in double figures led by Cade Niswonger's 33. Derek Dean tossed in 15 with Spencer Shannon dropping 14. The Bulldogs will return to action Thursday night as they host Hillcrest before traveling to Harrisburg Friday night. Action begins a 5 p.m. each night.
