  • Notice to all Jackson County Property Owners

  • Pursuant to the requirements of Acts 440 and 836 of 1997 and Acts 1185 and 416 of 1999 notice is hereby given to all property owners in Jackson County that the Jackson County Assessor intends to conduct the county wide reappraisal for ad valorem tax purposes of all parcels of real estate in Jackson County.

  • The five year reappraisal began on January 1, 2010 and will end in 2014. The appraisers are currently working north of the Newport area. Residents will be able to recognize the appraiser by signs on the vehicle and a photo I.D. Appraiser will only inspect the exterior of the homes.
