The First Missionary Babtist Church, 1017 Second St., invites everyone to attend. Mr. Dedman, the son of Alice Stephenson and the late Norris Stephonson, is chair of the board of trustees at Pulaski Technical College. Pulaski Tech's seven-member board of trustees is appointed by the governor of Arkansas. Each member serves a seven-year term and resides within Pulaski Tech's service area, which includes Pulaski, Saline, Lonoke and Faulkner counties. Mr. Dedman has served on the board since 2006 and was reappointed in 2009 by Gov. Beebe. His current term expires June 30, 2016. He previously served as the board’s vice-chair. Mr. Dedman has worked for AT&T for 35 years and currently serves as the company’s director of external affairs for central Arkansas, which involves governmental and community relations. Mr. Dedman currently serves on boards for the Arkansas Food Bank and the Little Rock Chamber of Commerce. He is a past chair of the North Little Rock Chamber of Commerce Board of Directors, a past president of the American Lung Association of Arkansas, and has served on the boards of the Downtown Little Rock Partnership and Little Rock Boys and Girls Club. A Tuckerman native, Mr. Dedman graduated from Arkansas State University. He is a past board member of the Arkansas State University Foundation Board.
