  • B.J. Thomas to Perform at ASU-Newport Feb. 23

  • Five-time Grammy Award-winning vocalist B.J. Thomas will take the stage Feb. 23, at 7 p.m. at the Arkansas State University-Newport Center for the Arts, and good seats are still available.

  • In the final performance of this season’s ASUN Patron Series, Thomas, who has sold over 70 million records, is set to perform the classics that have made him a true American institution and ranked him in Billboard’s Top 50 most played artists over the past 50 years. Also a two-time Dove Award winner, Thomas owns one of the most distinctive voices in American pop music and his signature hits – the Oscar-winning “Raindrops Keep Fallin’ On My Head”, the million-selling “(Hey Won’t You Play) Another Somebody Done Somebody Wrong Song” and his career-igniting cover of Hank Williams’ “I’m So Lonesome I Could Cry” – are instantly recognized worldwide. Tickets remain on sale for $15, and reserved seating may be purchased by calling the ASUN Business Office at 870-512-7802 between the hours of 8 a.m. and 4:30 p.m., Monday through Friday.
