On March 2, 2013, the Veterans of Foreign Wars Department of Arkansas, will be conducting a statewide membership drive in many communities around the state.

Veterans from every era are invited to visit the site in their community to learn more about the benefits of membership in the VFW and it's Auxiliary units. The VFW is the largest and most influential veterans advocacy organization in the United States. It's activities range from local community support to influencing the outcome of Federal legislation Washington D.C. on behalf of veterans. One in seven service members return from combat diagnosed with Post Traumatic Stress Disorder (PTSD). The VFW Post Service offers help member wade through the Veterans Administration claims processes and provide administrative assistance to members with service related injury claims as well. Membership in the VFW is important for veterans returning from foreign theaters.
