  • The 10-week clinic will help train ladies for the graduation event, a 5K run/walk to be held May 11 in Conway. The training clinic is for beginners as well as intermediate and advanced runners. There is no cost involved for the clinics, however, there is a $20 fee for the graduation event. The $20 fee includes entry into the 5K, a t-shirt and other goodies and a portion of every entry fee is donated to a charitable organization of the club’s choice. All clinic leaders and directors volunteer their time for the 10-week training period. Ladies are encouraged to join the fun with others training to run and walk. You will make new friends and possibly meet someone to walk and run with on a continual basis, even after the training period and 5K. This is an excellent opportunity to do something for yourself and begin a lifestyle that will benefit you for the rest of your life. To pre-register for the clinic, log on to the Women Run Arkansas website at www.womenrunarkansas.net or register at the first clinic session. For more information, contact Larissa Clark at 870-512-7872 or Jennifer Ballard at 870-217-9490. The Women Run Arkansas Running/Walking Club is a Road Runners Club of America club and is dedicated to promoting healthy living among women through running and walking activities.
