  • Did The Bachelor's Sean just say goodbye to his soul mate? Host Chris Harrison thinks he might have.
"I'm pretty sure he let go of the love of his life," Harrison tells TVGuide.com about Desiree's exit.
On Monday's episode, Sean headed to the hometowns of the four remaining women. Although he and Desiree have had a connection since the start of the season, her brother's negative comments to Sean turned him off, and he let her go. But what did viewers not see from Des' hometown date? Harrison fills us in on that and more in our weekly interview.
Did Desiree's brother really ruin it for her or was it something else?Chris Harrison: I think it was the brother. Sean is really particular about being able to see himself as a part of the family. What you didn't see is the first conversation they had went great! Then her brother came back, did a 180 and went crazy. I heard about it later and asked if the producers did something and they said, "No, we have no idea what the hell happened." It made no sense.
The Bachelor's Chris Harrison on Tierra's much-needed exit and Lesley's regretful goodbye
Does Sean regret it?Harrison: I'll be interested to see if he'll say he regrets it. I know she was head over heels in love with the guy. When Desiree was leaving, it reminded me of Aaron Buerge saying goodbye to Gwen. It's like, "What are you doing? This is wrong; you shouldn't be breaking up." It didn't feel right.
Too early to say if Des is the front-runner to be the next Bachelorette?Harrison: I take my response off of Twitter and so far she has had the biggest response. Sarah got a decent response and we'll see what happens next week, but right now Des is a big front-runner. She's the beautiful girl-next-door that you want to wish well.

AshLee's date was again intense. Harrison: Her dad's story of the adoption was one of the more emotional things we've shown on the show. I don't mean this to be demeaning at all, but AshLee is a grown woman and a very mature woman who's very comfortable with who she is and what she wants. She may just be a little too mature for Sean. It's not like Sean's a child, but his relationship with AshLee is a lot more serious.
I was surprised that Lindsay's dad, a general, gave his permission should Sean choose to propose. Harrison: Well, he's a good ol' boy, and you can put khakis on him and he could be in the Army. Lindsay's dad gave, hands-down, the best father advice we've ever had on this show. As amazing and heartfelt as AshLee's dad was, that was a great moment.
Bachelor's Chris Harrison: Selma "shot herself in the foot" by skipping the Polar Bear Plunge
What can viewers expect from tonight's "Sean Tells All"?Harrison: It turned out better than I expected. I felt like getting to talk to Sean about Sarah and Tierra and Des - really getting in his head - and showing things you didn't see and hear was great.
Do you address the fantasy suite dates and the all the virginity stories about him?Harrison: We knew that nothing really happened in the suite, so we went there with him and he's pretty forthright about it.
And I hear you're launching a clothing line?Harrison: It's going launch on the heels of the finale, which is March 11. Christopher Wicks is a good friend of mine, I wear a lot of clothes on the show anyway, and he and I were talking at lunch about how it all works. He said, "Are you thinking about a clothing line?" and I said, "Yeah, I've thought about it." He owns the Da Vinci brand and said, "Why don't we attach you to the brand and launch a clothing line?" That's kind of how it happened. So I'm going to wear a whole outfit for the finale and we'll have a launch party after that. I think there's a real market for guys like me: professional men that want to look sharp and not like a douche.
