The event will begin at 3 p.m. Sunday, Feb. 24 and they will honor Dorris Tolerson Borders during the program. The Reverend Angela M. Finney will be the guest speaker. Rev. Finney is the pastor of St. Paul African Methodist Episcopal Church located in Tuckerman, Arkansas. Rev. Finney currently serves as the Arkansas Conference Women In Ministry (WIM) Coordinator, of the 12th Episcopal District of the A.M.E. Church. In this role she hopes to lead the WIM to a place of unity and devotion to leading wounded women to Christ. Rev. Finney served with her husband Rev. Ervin Finney in ministry at Faith Hope and Love AME Church until September 2012 when she was given her first charge as a Pastor at St. Paul. At Faith Hope and Love she worked diligently beside her husband to lay the foundation for an AME Church in Conway, AR. She is a United States Army Veteran who served in “Operation Iraqi Freedom”. Rev. Finney received her undergraduate degree from the University of Arkansas at Little Rock and is currently pursuing a Master of Divinity at Liberty University. Her personal motto is “God’s Word, God’s Will, and God’s Way.” Rev. Finney is a preacher with a passion for praising God and serving those that are in need of physical and spiritual healing. She has a vision to minister to young girls and women across the country regarding “The Father’s Love”.
