As part of the Life-Long Learning series from the Arkansas State University-Newport Continuing Education Department, Randy Chlapecka from the Jackson County Cooperative Extension Office will do a presentation on gardening Saturday, April 20.

During this two-hour session, Chlapecka will use PowerPoint and real-life demonstrations to teach attendees how to improve their gardening skills. The class will be held from 10:00 a.m. until noon in room 134 of Walton Hall on the ASUN campus, and the fee is $10. Each participant in the class will take home the vegetable that they plant.
