Country music star Brad Paisley and rapper LL Cool J teamed up for the “Accidental Racist,” and the lyrics are causing controversy, with some claiming the song is actually racist. Comedians like Patton Oswalt went crazy on Twitter poking fun of the song, while Paisley defended it to Entertainment Weekly saying he knew the song would be shocking. Megachurch pastor Joel Osteen was the victim of an Internet hoax that said he was denouncing Christianity. A website on Monday went up that looked like Osteen’s official website, and it said he was leaving Christianity and that the Bible was a "fallible, flawed, highly inconsistent history book." Osteen responded by telling ABC News, "You know, I'm really not angry. I don't feel like a victim. I feel too blessed, that life is too short to let things like this get you down."
