  • The sentence stems from an incident in 2009 when, according to an affidavit, Ashcraft, 23 at the time, was caught sending sexual text messages to a 12-year-old girl. Specifically, according to the affidavit, Ashcraft had asked the girl to kiss him and to perform oral sex. The affidavit states that Ashcraft initially denied knowing the young girl but after further explanation he admitting to remembering her. During an interview with Jackson County Sheriff David Lucas, Ashcraft admitted to sending sexual text messages to the young girl and other juvenile girls asking for oral sex, but says the messages were "only out of fun" and that he didn't mean anything by them. Ashcraft appeared in court on August 5, 2010 and was charged with sexual indecency with a child and was sentenced to a 60 month probation and was ordered that he could not date women with minor children, he was to have no contact with minors, maintain a sex offender registration, have no unsupervised contact with minors, avoid high risk situations and have no contact with the victim. According to a petition for revocation filed in September 2011, Ashcraft had his probation revoked for failing to report to his supervising officer, committing the felony offense of theft of property in Lawrence County, falling behind on supervision fees and failing to notify his supervising officer of any change in employment. The document also states that Ashcraft had been asking his supervisor to allow him to wrestle but was denied due to it being a high risk situation due to the large number of children that attend. Ashcraft, however continued to wrestle under the moniker "Playboy Tommy Wayne." He appeared in court on February, 07, 2012 and was sentenced to an additional 12 months of probation. Then, according to another petition for revocation filed in January 2013, Ashcraft again violated his probation this time contacting a 14-year-old female around September 26, 2012 by both Facebook and through text message. Also, sometime around January 11, 2013 Ashcraft registered for his wrestling license in Craighead County, after being directed by his supervising officer on several occasions that he could not wrestle due to his charges. Ashcraft appeared in court on May 16, 2013 and was sentenced to 60 months in the Arkansas Department of Corrections.
