Working in a state-of-the-art commercial kitchen, class participants will learn various cooking techniques and a bit of history before sitting down to feast on the prepared items. The classes get underway in September, with “International Flair” meeting on Monday nights beginning Sept. 9. Participants will explore a variety of international cuisines, discover the tastes from around the world and immerse themselves in different cultures! Classes will meet from 6:00 p.m.-9:00 p.m. and the cost is $200 per person.
October’s theme will be “Travel America,” and class participants will discover the unique cuisines that make America a melting pot. Taste flavors ranging from seafood from the coast of Maine, to the Cajun cuisine of Louisiana, to the comfort foods of the Midwest to the new age cuisine of the west coast. Classes will beginMonday, Oct. 7 and run for four weeks, meeting from 6:00 p.m.-9:00 p.m.
As the holidays approach, “Holiday Extravaganza” will be the theme for November. This class will focus on creating delicious cookies, candy, appetizers and gifts to give. Throughout each session you will learn a variety of cooking techniques, food presentation and serving ideas. Classes will begin Monday, Nov. 4 and run for four weeks, meeting from 6:00 p.m.-9:00 p.m.
