  • After completing the requirements for the General Educational Development tests and receiving their Arkansas High School Diplomas following the Spring 2013 semester, the following Arkansas State University-Newport students were awarded full tuition scholarships for the 2013-14 academic school year:

  • Rachel N. Baty of Tuckerman.  Baty is the daughter of Missy Loggains and David Baty, and plans to pursue her Associate of Science degree in Business. Emily Dewitt of McCrory.  Dewitt plans to pursue her Associate of Arts degree. Melissa Candler of Searcy.  Candler is the wife of Ty Candler and the mother of Emileigh Dawson.  She plans to pursue her Associate of Arts degree in Preschool-Fourth Grade Teaching. Arkansas State University-Newport congratulates these students on their efforts in furthering their education.
