YOUR SEARCH FOR GOD
In your search for God,
Be careful where you look.
It is no big secret where to find Him,
Take time to look in the Bible, God’s book.
When you ask men, how to find Him,
Do not be surprised at what they say.
They can only tell you what they think,
And it may not be God’s way.
Some people worship animals,
While others carve their own.
Some people worship nature,
And their god is where they roam.
Do not be fooled by others,
Their ignorance will lead you astray.
You can only trust in the true God,
But you must know what He has to say.
If you do not have a Bible,
You need to get yourself one.
The Word of God will direct you,
To Jesus, His only begotten Son.
When you come to Jesus,
Be ready to make a change.
God will empower you with the Holy Spirit,
And your priorities He will rearrange.
Part of your life is passed,
But enough is left to correct.
The way you live from day to day,
When Jesus you select.
“Come unto me …and I will give you rest,” *
Jesus declared this one day.
“Come and follow me,” **
For ,”I am the way.” ***
