  • Greyhound, the largest provider of intercity bus transportation, today announced that it has expanded its service by adding six new cities to its route from Little Rock to Memphis.

  • The route now includes Searcy, Bald Knob, Newport, Jonesboro, Marked Tree and West Memphis, ending in Memphis.  There will be daily stops in Newport at 5:55 p.m. according to greyhound.com “Expanding Greyhound’s route between Little Rock and Memphis was a great opportunity to meet a demand for our service in these cities,” said Dave Leach, president and CEO, Greyhound. “The expanded service gives customers more travel choices with a daily departure each way, and allows us to provide safe, affordable and convenient service that our customers enjoy.”  This expansion adds to Greyhound’s network of more than 3,800 destinations throughout North America, and is launching just in time for the holidays.
