The Arkansas State University-Newport summer camps got underway this week when the Newport campus of ASUN hosted Drama Camp for students in grades 4-6. Students attending the camp participated in activities leading up to a theatrical production, including costume and prop design, makeup application and play production.

Arkansas State University-Newport will host its second camp of the summer next week when Discovery Camp, also for students grades 4-6 takes place on the Newport campus. During the month of July, the camps shift to the Marked Tree campus, with Drama Camp scheduled for July 7-11 and STEM Camp for students in grades 7-8 scheduled forJuly 21-25.
All camps will run from 8-11:30 a.m. each day, and the fee for each camp is $75 for the first child and $25 for each additional child from the same household.
