One lucky Stranger Things fan might get to dance her wedding night away with Sheriff Hopper himself. David Harbour, who plays the very meme-able sheriff in the Netflix series, has offered to officiate a fan's wedding, but only if a few key requirements are met.

Responding to a tweet from @ErickaElizabth, who asked what it would take to get the actor to officiate her upcoming September wedding, Harbour said: "125k retweets. Provided date works with s3 shooting schedule, I will get ordained and perform ceremony. I get to read an esteemed love letter of my choosing, and after the cake is officially cut, I get the very first piece. #allthecakes"

It's not entirely clear which tweet, Harbour's or the fan's, needs to reach the 125,000 mark, but 13 hours after Harbour laid out the deal, his tweet is at over 60 thousand retweets and the fan's has nabbed over 40 thousand. It's likely Harbour's involvement in the wedding rests on the fan's tweet, which still has a way to go to meet the 125,000 mark, but the romantic in us is remaining optimistic.

What's Next for Stranger Things in Season 3?

This isn't the first time Harbour has gone out of his way for a fan if she got enough retweets. Last week, the Golden Globe nominee shared yearbook photos he took with a high school senior since she met his challenge of 25,000 retweets. (Important note: Harbour wearing the school sweatshirt and holding the trombone were part of his participation requirements.)

Stranger Things' first two seasons are available to stream on Netflix now.

Voted most likely to hijack someone's high school senior photos 24 years later. Many thanks to @postydamaris and her kind family and @iamtommyg photography for making a dream come true and proving my high school classmates right!!
