After previous speculation, it looks like Sister, Sister is actually making a TV comeback.

Jackée Harry, who played Tia Mowry's adoptive mother Lisa on the series, confirmed that the reboot is, indeed, happening during an interview with Steve Harvey. "Yeah, it's happening," she told the talk show host.

The series, which ran from 1994-1999, starred Tia and Tamera Mowry as teenagers who discover that they're twins separated at birth after running into each other at the mall. Tia and Lisa soon move in with Tamera and her adoptive father Ray (Tim Reid) prompting hijinks to ensue. The show also starred Marques Houston as their boundary-crossing neighbor, Roger, who openly pined for both sisters.

There's a Sister, Sister Reboot in the Works

Back in June 2017, Tia revealed that they were assembling a creative team to bring the reboot to life. "We're looking, right now, for a producer and a writer, someone who can kind of be a leader of the pack in regards to running the show," she told Nylon at the time.

Between Tia's update last summer and Harry's apparent confirmation, it looks like another classic will make its way back to television very soon. The Sister, Sister reboot would join Will & Grace, American Idol, Roseanne and other beloved shows that have been revived recently.
