Trails to Tuckerman Historical Society had their regular meeting April 2, 2018 at Tuckerman City Court Room. President Tommy Young called the meeting to order. Secretary Vickie Williams read minutes of last meeting. Treasurer Sandra Brock recognized new members also treasurer report and memorial fund, student of the month scholarship fund was given by Sandra Brock. Reporter Ollie Brown gave public relations report. Status of archiving and personal interviews was given by 2nd Vice President Debbie Brown. Tommy Young gave brief recap of our mission and purpose. The student of the month pancake breakfast was finalized it will be April 20,2018 from 6-9 a.m. in the Tuckerman Senior Citizen Center price is five dollars each this is an April event every year to support the scholarship fund for students of the month. Vickie Williams presented April student of the month Clay Marlar with a plaque and cash also May student of the month Reese Camp was given a plaque and cash since graduation will be before our next meeting. Eddie Nagel and Michael Smith discussed the status of the web-site www.trailstotuckerman.com the website is being updated to having a pay-pal account. The Memorial Park plans were discussed and finalized for the summer work. The last spring meeting will be May 7,2018 a meal will be catered all students of the month will be invited with their families. At this time a student for the year will be chosen by the school faculty and we be awarded the student of the year scholarship. For show and tell a large display case with articles from Pawnee Halliburton was assembled by his nephew Daryl Roberts the case was given to the Trails in memory of Mr. Halliburton. The next meeting will be May 7, 2018 6:00 p.m. at Tuckerman City Court Room.
