Add to your child’s summer with adventure by attending the Summer Science Day Camp.  The camp is June 23-25, from 9 a.m. to 12 p.m. at the park pavilion.
Kids from age 6 to 12 years will find excitement exploring the outdoors through games, activities and crafts.  Discover the magic of nature with activities such as insect bingo, water games, a fishing clinic with the Game and Fish Commission, as well as designing your own camp T-shirts.  They will have lots of fun activities with learning lessons too. The fee for day camp is $15 per child, which includes the camp T-shirt.  The fee is used to help pay the cost of materials used in the activities.
Children’s groups, Day Care Centers and Summer Schools children are encouraged to participate in this camp.  Don’t let your kids miss out on a summer adventure at Jacksonport State Park.
For more information and registration, please Contact the Park Interpreter at the Park Office at (870) 523-2143 or 205 Avenue Street, Newport, AR  72112.  E-mail: Donna.bentley@arkansas.gov.
