The two men suspected of sinking the Mary Woods No. 2 were released from jail Monday after pleading guilty to the crime of criminal trespass.

Richard Rife and Paul Morrison served a total of 134 days in the county jail and were sentenced to time served for the misdemeanor crime of criminal tresspass, according to a judgement order received from the Circuit Court.  The pair was originally charged with commercial burglary and criminal mischief in the second degree, but those charges were lessened because of information received by the Prosecutor's office indicating a rusty pipe was the actually cause of the boat's sinking.
