Talmadge Robertson was arrested on June 23 after the Jackson County Sheriff’s Office received a 911 call concerning shots being fired on County Road 306.
Officers found shell casings upon arriving at the scene. Witnesses implicated Robertson as the person firing the weapon, and it was determined one residence had been struck by three projectiles.
The Independence County Sheriff’s Office was contacted once the subject and his vehicle were identified. Independence County officers had Robertson in custody shortly after the call. Robertson was picked up from Independence County by Lieutenant James Brock and took officers to where he had left his vehicle and the firearm.
Robertson was charged with three counts of a terroristic act and one count of being a felon in possession of a firearm in District Court on June 25.
