Tuckerman Mayor Everett King reported Tuesday that the water towers in the city are back online.
"This ought to help the water some," the mayor said.
With projects still left to be done, the mayor was happy to see relief in the future.
Both the 75,000 gallon overhead tank and the 400,000 gallon tank were operating to full capacity and water has reportedly cleared some for the city's customers.
The next project is the replacement of the filters, for which the mayor has already received some supplies. He expects that project to begin in two to three weeks.
"Then we have a plan to flush all the lines and get rid of the bad water," King said.
