Third annual Celebration of Life to be held Saturday

The 3rd Annual Community Celebration of Life, "Preserving the Future of the Family & The Sanctity of Life," will be held Saturday, June 27 from 4-9 p.m. at Lockwood Park in Newport.
The event, sponsored by Project New Start and All United Christians of Moral Courage, will begin at 4 p.m. with a fishing derby for children ages 4-12.
Singing will be held from 6-7 p.m. followed by a message from Brandon Gates from 7-7:30 p.m. 
Food will be served from 7:30-8:30 p.m. which will be followed by a fireworks display on Front Street, organized by Billy Madison, at 9 p.m.
Everyone is invited to come out and help share in the love of our neighborhoods, communities, cities and all the people of Jackson County.
