The Newport Area Chamber of Commerce is pleased to announce participants in the New Vision Newport class of 2010-11. Class members, their employers and sponsors include:

The class will also include one student, John Robinson from Newport High School.
Entering its eighth year, this Chamber-sponsored program will offer class members leadership skills, a greater knowledge of various aspects of our community, on-site visits to businesses and manufacturers in our area, a state government trip to Little Rock, and team building and relationship building skills. More importantly, it offers class members an opportunity to better develop self-confidence, to achieve personal goals and to be a better and more productive citizen in the workplace and the community.
Class sessions are held one day per month from September through April. The program will begin with an overnight retreat to East Arkansas Community College in Forrest City Sept. 17-18. A graduation ceremony is scheduled for May of 2011 for class members, their guests and sponsors.
