Wilma Ivon (Waddill) Turner passed away July 24, 2017

 Mrs. Wilma Ivon (Waddill) Turner, of Springfield, Missouri, formerly of Newport, Arkansas, departed this life on Monday, July 24, 2017 at the age of 84.  She was born January 3, 1934 in Newport, the daughter of Fred and Mabel (Vance) Waddill.
    Mrs. Turner worked as bookkeeper and secretary for Arkansas Power and Light over 25 years, and was secretary for Holden Avenue Church of Christ five years.  She was an avid reader and quilt maker, who loved to visit with her friends and family.
    Mrs. Turner was preceded in death by her husband, Fergus Turner; one son, Steve Turner; and her parents.
    She is survived by one son, Danny Turner of Hot Springs; one daughter, Mona Turner McFall and husband, Don, of Springfield, Missouri; one sister, Carol Allen and husband, Finis, of Oil Trough; seven grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren.
    Friends may visit at the funeral home, Friday, 12:30 until 1:30 p.m.  Graveside services will be 2:00 p.m. Friday at Walnut Grove Cemetery.
