Mr. James Herbert McFarland died Thursday, June 11, 2009 at Harris Hospital in Newport, at the age of 88.
He was preceded in death by his parents, John McFarland and Bertie Wilson McFarland Phillips; his wife, Doris Langston McFarland; one sister, Rena Louise McFarland O’Kelly; and a nephew.
He is survived by his only child, son, Daniel McFarland and wife, Sandra; former wife, Dorothy; two grandchildren; a niece; and many other loving kin.
He will be buried next to his mother at Walnut Grove Cemetery. There will be no service at Mr. Mcfarland's request.
