Mr. James A. Anschultz, 59, of Newport died Sunday, July 11, 2010.  He was born Feb. 14, 1951 in Grubbs, the son of Rube Allen and Della (Bradley) Anschultz.
He was a self-employed carpenter, and was a member of Central Baptist Church at Newport.  Mr. Anschultz enjoyed fishing, hunting, hunting arrowheads, and collecting antiques and coins.  
He was preceded in death by one daughter, Airman First Class Ashley Anschultz; and his parents.
Mr. Anschultz is survived by one son, Kaleb Anschultz of Grubbs; one daughter, Misty Corner of Benton; two brothers, Lannas Anschultz of Alveton, Ky., and R.K. Anschultz of Grubbs; three sisters, Loretta Lindeman of Seagoville, Texas, Dot Nicholson of Newport, and Sharon Clausen of Newport; and four grandchildren, Michael, Shawn, Brittney, and Jasmine.
Funeral services were held at 10 a.m. Wednesday, July 14, 2010 at Jackson’s Newport Funeral Home Chapel.  Interment followed in Walnut Grove Cemetery.  Visitation was Tuesday, July 13, 2010 from 6-8 p.m.
Pallbearers were Danny Greeno, Jr., Peyton Greeno, Kenny Anschultz, Brian Anschultz, Tony Lindeman, and Carl Henley, Jr.  Honorary Pallbearer was Lindsey Nicholson.
