Mrs. Barbara Netidire Hickman, age 82, of Amagon departed this life on Thursday, June 11, 2009. She was a member of the Amagon Baptist Church where she served as Sunday school teacher and piano player.
She was preceded in death by her parents, William Henry Taylor and Janie Pearl Clark.
She is survived by her husband, William Hickman; one son, Ira (Butchie) Netidire Jr. of Louisiana; two daughters, Patsy Netidire Spicer of Newport, and Bobbie Sue Netidire Hodge of Louisiana; one brother, James Landers of Kentucky; several grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and step-grand and great-grandchildren.
