Mr. James Harley Davis, 85, of Thida, departed this life Sunday, July 11, 2010.
Mr. Davis is preceded in death by his parents, James and Gracy Davis.
He leaves behind his wife of 62 years, Velma (McSpadden) Davis; four sons, Mike Davis and wife, Julie, of Heber Springs, Rick Davis and wife, Shirley, of Cabot, Archie Davis and wife, Debbie, of Diaz, and Lloyd Balch and wife, Judy, of Tennessee ; four daughters, Leveata Shelley and husband, Randy, of Newport, Nancy Grisham and husband, Charles, of Thida, Barbara Willard and husband, Herbert, of Thida, and Reitha Davis of Thida; two sisters, Daisy Knight of Olyphant and Hazel Hoyt of Olyphant; 26 grandchildren; 57 great-grandchildren; two great-great-grandchildren, and numerous lasting friends.
Funeral Services were held at 2 p.m. Tuesday, July 13, 2010 at the Dillinger Funeral Home Chapel with burial in Coffeeville Cemetery.
