June Eloise Shurley Rainwater of Sheridan, was born June 13, 1940 in Oil Trough, the daughter of the late Charles Shurley and Frances Beeler Shurley Hawkins. Mrs. Rainwater died, Saturday, Jan. 16, 2010 at Jefferson Regional Medical Center in Pine Bluff at the age of 69.
Survivors include her husband, John Rainwater of Sheridan; Daughter, Shirley Rainwater McCool of Sheridan; Grandchildren, Grayson, Hayden, and Olivia McCool; Niece, Connie Henderson of Beaumont, Texas; and nephew, Tony Shurley of Quitman.
Funeral Services were held at 10 a.m., Tuesday, Jan. 19, 2010 at Memorial Gardens Funeral Home Chapel in Sheridan with Bro. Michael Walton officiating. Burial followed in Memorial Gardens Cemetery. Visitation was held from 5-7 p.m. Monday, Jan. 18, 2010.
